Every Brand Has a Beginning. Ours Started on the Side of the Road.

I was born and raised in Florida, where turtles were everywhere.

You’d see them crossing roads, sunbathing near ponds, or quietly making their way through the water.

Some of my favorite childhood memories are with my dad.

Whenever we spotted a turtle trying to cross the road, we’d pull over. Together, we’d carefully move it in the direction it was already traveling, giving it the chance to continue its journey safely.

Those moments taught me something I’ve carried my entire life:

Long before Telli had a name, kindness was already part of my story.

Those turtles never knew our names. They couldn’t say thank you. But helping them always filled my heart with joy.

Even today, I still find myself looking for turtles wherever I go.

Then another love entered my life—my Telluride.

It was the first brand-new vehicle I had ever purchased, and before long, I gave it a nickname…

TELLI.

One day, it simply clicked.

Turtles… Telli… Telluride…

It wasn’t something I planned.

It was one of those moments where your heart whispers, “This just makes sense.”

That’s how Telli the Turtle was born.

Not as a product. Not as a business. But as a way to share the same joy I’ve always felt whenever I saw a turtle.

Today, every Telli left on another Telluride carries that same message:

Someone took a moment out of their day to remind you that kindness still exists.

In a world that often feels rushed and divided, I believe one small turtle can remind us that kindness still travels.
